~About The Crew~

We are a group of diligent couch potatoes, who are deeply devoted to hardwork in the commonroom.
The couch is our vice and is the place where we sit and
-chill
-study
-daydream
-doze off
-attempt to find solutions to the endless list of toils that university life brings.

Its all about balance and so are we. On top of all that, we are just too cool. We put the french in the fry, the ato in potato, the ash in mash and the cool in school.

Hello guys
I really like your photo comic, the idea of using potatoes as your characters impresses me because they make the comic funny and also interesting to read it and it also goes well with your blog. Though I was little bit confused with the last page on the ending but I really understand what was the main aim of the comic because we all face with our own difficulties of which sometimes are caused with peer pressure. I also like the fact that at the end the potatoes find away to overcome their struggles as a unit which us as student are suppose to do, help one another in order to conquer our difficulties.
Nice work guys

hey!
Loved your comic. you guys really went to such an effort, and it shows in the way that everything comes together so fluently at the end. The idea of using 'potatoes' obviously was a play on the blog. Brilliant! The story line is also very real, yet at the same time maintains that crucial element of fantasy. Your characters are true reflections of the some of the individuals one may encounter at Rhodes, which just strengthens the message as the issues you dealt with have been and will continue being experienced by students on campus.
Awesome comic. Hope you guys ace it!

Hey crazy couch potatoes! I thoroughly enjoyed your comic! Who would have thought of using potatoes as actors in the comic? Very appropriate, considering the name and theme of your blog! I'm honestly quiet impressed. There is an evident use of Todorov's equilibrium, disequilibrium and new-equilibrium model, and I love how you made the plot become related to varsity. There is also a clear display of Propp's character functions, such as the hero and the princess! Who would have thought one could use theories to create such amazing work? Props to Priscilla! Really amazing stuff guys.
Props to you all!
